a sample of my work

sketches
In my free time, I love to doodle and sketch. I'm also very fond of comic books, so that influences my style and subject matter. I usually just draw on regular bond paper with my box full of Bic disposable mechanical pencils (no more sharpening!) and Pentel Clic Eraser (for clean, non-smudging whitespace).

Preview Dragon Force sketch
A quick layout sketch of one of the scenes involving Paul and Michelle. From my Dragon Force graphic novel.

Gambit X-Men's Gambit
A rendition of one of my favorite comic characters. The trenchcoat he wears is a great way to express dynamic movement.

Preview X-Men's Gambit
There's something bittersweet about him. He never really wins, but he always perseveres.

Preview X-Men's Cyclops
A rough sketch of Cyclops with Magneto in the background.

Phoenix Dragon Force's Phoenix
The mysterious ninjitsu operative.

Preview Dev the Chameleon
Something I submitted to Deviant Art's macot contest. (It's Dev, the skinnable, passive aggressive chameleon!)

Michelle Dragon Force's Michelle
a sketch of one of the characters in my Dragon Force graphic novel.

Preview Dragon Force's Shadow
Ninja. Spy. Agent. Whatever you call him, Shadow is a master at corporate espionage and at gathering data about his enemies. What he does with this information, however, is his own agenda.

Frost Dragon Force's Frost
Frost and Michelle are up to something devious... (Wanna guess what's in her hand?)

Preview Dragon Force's Kristine
Looks like Paul and Kristine aren't on good terms with one another. Unfinished sketch.

Preview Marvel's Iron Man
Just about the coolest comic character that has so much untapped potential. He's basically Batman, but with cooler (and more expensive!) toys.
